Current Issues:

Issue 1 - I click on a download link and see only a white screen

Issue 2 - I try to load something on the website. It is the right size for an instant, and then becomes suddenly too small to read


Issue 1:

If you click on a link (blue words) and only see a white screen, look to see if there is a yellow bar above the website. It would look like this:

If you see a yellow bar like the one above, click on the bar, and then click "Download File" from the menu that appears.

Issue 2:

If you load something (usually an article from the press archive), and it appears readable for an instant before shrinking in size suddenly, please click on the unreadable content once with the left mouse button.

Why this occurs:

Scanning an article from a newspaper results in an image file that we host here on fhlib.org. Certain web browsers will load an image file and then shrink it to the size of your screen, assuming it is, for example, a photograph that you would like to see completely without scrolling. By clicking on the image file, you override this behavior and restore the image to its actual size.
